Becker Engineering, a Civil Engineering Firm providing municipal water, wastewater, stormwater and land planning services, is seeking a civil engineer for a full-time position in our Lancaster, PA, office. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- 5 to 15 years experience in the design of water and sanitary sewer collection and conveyance lines, pumping facilities, water storage facilities, water supply facilities, water and wastewater treatment, and permitting of water and wastewater related projects
- Experience managing and communicating with clients
- Ability and experience performing and managing construction site observations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software - Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Received the Fundamentals of Engineering Certification, PE preferred
MUNICIPAL WATER & WASTEWATER
MUNICIPAL STORMWATER
- 5 to 15 years experience in the design of stormwater systems, culverts, stream restorations, and a full knowledge and understanding of land development, land planning, erosion and sedimentation controls, and Township engineering.
- Experience managing and communicating with other consultants, project managers,, solicitors, clients, and other Township staff members
- Ability and experience performing and managing construction site observations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software - Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Received the Fundamentals of Engineering Certification, PE preferred
